So many layers... I still have nightmares from this. When all was said and done I had over 90 layers of watercolor. Edit after edit, this file was so large it crashed my computer every night.
But boy was it worth it.
My inspiration was the rippling waves of water of the great Ohio River. Each wave is a reverberation, representing the way love moves from you to effect those around you.
Each line was hand drawn and then rendered out through a few different design programs. The watercolors were hand painted and multiplied over and over again until I had a deep texture that felt like real love feels and looks like.
I am blessed to have had a chance to work with Artworks on such an amazing public installation.
